These are challenging and divisive times: not the first time that communities, families and perhaps our entire country has had to try to come together and unite. We saw it quite clearly in the mid 1960’s with movements called flower power, bi-ins, love-ins, peace marches, hippies, and music that brought us together – not protest songs – that came soon thereafter and that was also a uniting force; we needed that too …. but for a few years, there was this music all about peace and love, harmony and togetherness. And you know what – it worked.
We’ve put together an afternoon to bring us together again – with a 15 piece band, performing outdoors at the incredible Alchemist Brewery in Stowe, playing the music of that loving period.
